The benefits of PM motors
At eL-Tec, we work with i.a. PM motors. For propulsion and for generating electricity. PM stands for permanent magnet - which means that there is no waste of energy to generate a magnetic field. That’s a choice we made consciously, together with our partners. These type of systems are not only very silent and reliable, they also allow you to save weight compared to asynchronous motors. And on top of that: they are very versatile and extremely efficient.
